Življenjepis

Jože Sambt ima doktorat s področja ekonomije (Univerza v Ljubljani, Ekonomska fakulteta, 2009). Sodeluje pri izvajanju predmetov osnove statistike, metode in tehnike raziskovalnega dela, demografija in ekonomska statistika. Med njegovimi raziskovanimi področji so odnosi med generacijami, demografija, učinki demografskih sprememb na dolgoročno vzdržnost javnih financ in ekonomika dela. Seznam njegovih objavljenih del vsebuje številne recenzirane članke v revijah in monografijah, vključno z objavo v svetovno vodilni reviji ‘Science’. V svoji karieri je bil vključen v številne domače in mednarodne raziskovalne projekte s področja medgeneracijskih transferjev, (mikrosimulacijskih) pokojninskih modelov, dolgoročne vzdržnosti javnih financ, itd. Je vodja slovenske ekipe v mednarodnem raziskovalnem projektu National Transfer Accounts (www.ntaccounts.org). Sodeluje s številnimi domačimi in mednarodnimi organizacijami.
