The School of Economics and Business (UL SEB) was founded in 1946 as part of the University of Ljubljana and soon after its establishment it developed into one of the most influential and leading higher education institutions in the field of education and scientific research in economics and business in Slovenia and the entire region.

We don’t research just for ourselves
Alongside delivering top-level education, the School of Economics and Business is strongly focused on research. We host over 30 academic and research seminars and conferences annually, and our researchers publish their findings in leading international scientific journals. The Behavioural and Financial Laboratory enables research at the intersection of economics, finance, and psychology, opening new pathways to future solutions.
