Action against violence, harassment and abuse
The Policy on Measures to Prevent Violence, Harassment and Abuse sets out the measures taken by the University of Ljubljana to create an environment in which the dignity of all persons is respected, as well as the procedure and measures to be taken in the event of a violation of this dignity.
In accordance with the regulations, each member of UL appoints confidential advisor who are specially trained to deal with harassment and to whom employees, students and other persons employed at the School of Economics and Business, regardless of their job title or position or the type of employment contract, as well as other persons defined in Article 3 of the regulations, can turn.
The University of Ljubljana is committed to an academic environment that is free from violence, sexual and other harassment or abuse. Any behaviour or action that violates a person's dignity, impairs a person's personal rights and integrity or creates an unsafe, intimidating, humiliating or hostile environment is unacceptable. The University of Ljubljana is committed to an active policy of creating and maintaining an academic environment in which the dignity of all persons, regardless of their personal circumstances, is respected. Everyone at the University has a duty to promote and develop respectful cooperation and to endeavour to resolve disputes peacefully.
