International impact
Since 1990, the School of Economics and Business has been committed to internationalisation as a key strategic orientation for equipping students and the business community with the competencies to operate in a culturally diverse market. Over the decades, internationalisation and, in particular, the international influence of the School have become central to our identity, as today we represent an international school where glocalisation and diversity are intertwined with research, teaching and learning.

Memberships in international organisations and associations
In 2018, together with the University of Ljubljana, we joined EUTOPIA, the European University Alliance, which today connects 10 European universities.
The main objective of the EUTOPIA Alliance is to test innovative models of European higher education cooperation through pilot projects, which will be the basis for the development of the design and organisational structure of the new European Transnational University. Together, we co-create an open, diverse, and multicultural higher education space.
The UL SEB and its employees actively participate in various activities and events, such as: EUTOPIA Learning Communities, Young Leaders Academy (YLA), ECOTOPIA Summer School, EUTOPIA Week in Ljubljana, student exchanges with EUTOPIA partner universities, and workshops and training for the faculty.
In 2022, EUTOPIA received new EU funding for the next four years, during which period the focus will be on ecology. The ECOTOPIA programme was created with this in mind, and the UL SEB organised the ECOTOPIA Summer School in 2023.
You can read about the opportunities for students and researchers offered by EUTOPIA here.
