Maja Zaman Groff has completed undergraduate and masters studies at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. She attended the fourth year of the undergraduate program at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA. She completed the Doctoral Program in accounting and auditing at the School of Economics and Business. During the doctoral study she obtained the status of a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, New York, USA. Currently, she is the Coordinator of the post graduate Programme in Accounting and Auditing at the School of Economics and Business in Ljubljana. She teaches accounting and auditing courses at undergraduate and master programs. At the Slovenian Institute of Auditors she obtained professional titles Auditor and Certified Accountant and has completed the 2-year Certified Auditor program. She is a member of the European Accounting Association. Her past and present professional experiences include membership in audit committees of supervisory boards in companies Iskra Avtoelektrika, Juteks, Pošta Slovenije, HSE, Triglav health insurance, ZTSR, DCB and KSRD.
