Matej Švigelj is an associate professor at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, Slovenia. His research interests encompass the field of regulation, liberalisation and privatisation of telecommunications and energy industries. His teaching activity involves courses in Microeconomics, Industrial Organisation, Energy Economics, Industrial organisation, competition policy and regulation, Economics of Regulation, Economics of telecommunications and Economics of Public Sector. In the past years he has been working on several research and consulting projects. He has published several papers in international journals and presented his research at several international conferences. He is also a member of the International Telecommunications Society (ITS), the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) and Slovenian Association for Energy Economics (SAEE).
