English for Business and Economics Module 2 (PD)

Goals

The aims of the course are:
 To build English terminology for business and economics;
 To develop fluency and accuracy in spoken and written communication in business settings;
 To enable effective use of study and reference literature in English.

Syllabus

The course covers a wide range of business and economics topics including: entrepreneurship, marketing, advertising, finance and stock exchange, accounting and auditing, mergers and acquisitions. Students develop communication skills by taking part in simulated business meetings and presenting business cases. They develop fluency in English by engaging in discussions on current business issues.
