Darja Peljhan
PhD

Darja Peljhan is a Full Professor at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana (SEB LU). She is a vice-chair of Academic Unit for Management and Organisation and an associate member of the Academic unit for Accounting and Auditing. She teaches the following courses: Introduction to Business, Business Performance Analysis, Accounting Information for Decision Making and Accounting for managers. She is a visiting professor at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business and University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and Business. Her research interests are in the fields of management control systems, performance measurement and management, risk management and age management-performance interaction. She is a member of European Accounting Association (EAA), Management Control Association (MCA), American Accounting Association (AAA) and a member of the Slovenian academy of Management (SAM). She is a member of the research group “The Impact of Corporate Governance, Organisational Learning, and Knowledge Management on Organizations in Ageing Societies” (Coordinator: prof. Vlado Dimovski). She serves as a member of Editorial Team of the Economic and Business Review (AJG/ABS) and Journal of Management and Business Administration Central Europe (ESCI, Scopus). She works as a reviewer for several international journals from the fields of management and management accounting.
